We have five fixtures from the Championship on Wednesday but in this article we will concentrate on the televised fixtures. The first of those is from Elland Road where Leeds will host Millwall, Daniel Farke’s side lost when the two sides met here in the FA Cup fourth round so they will hope they can put that right in the league. They gave up their three point lead at the top of the table after a weekend defeat away to Portsmouth (0-1), with just one defeat here in the league all season you expect the Yorkshire side to bounce back with a convincing victory here.
The visitors Millwall beat Leeds at the Den 1-0 earlier in the season so they arrive here with confidence they can beat their opponents. Alex Neil’s side are midtable in 12th and arrive here on the back of a victory away to Watford (1-2), we expect them to come and play football so they can get on the scoresheet but can they keep Leeds attacking presence at holt as the homeside have scored a impressive 72 goals in the Championship so far this season.

The second contest to look at comes from Fratton Park where Portsmouth will host bottom of the table Plymouth, John Mousinho’s side have climbed up to 17th after four wins in their last five league games. The good run started with a victory at home to Cardiff (2-1), then a away win at Oxford (0-2), a home win against QPR (2-1), then they lost away to Luton (1-0) but then they got back to winning ways with a shock win at home to league leaders Leeds (1-0) last weekend.
They face a side in Plymouth who are sitting at the foot of the table with six points away from safety, Miron Muslic’s side were knocked out of the FA Cup last 16 by Man City losing the game 3-1 and since that game they have lost their next two league games. Firstly it was an away defeat to Hull (2-0) which was followed by a home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday (0-3). The seaside club face a massive uphill battle to remain in the Championship but will the survival run start here against another seaside side that are in great form.

The last of the fixtures to look at with you is from the bet365 Stadium where Stoke will welcome Blackburn, Mark Robins’s side look to complete the home and away double after their 2-0 win at Ewood Park earlier in the campaign. The homeside are 20th in the table and four points from safety win ten games of the season remaining, with just one point from four games which was a goalless draw at home to Watford they could do with maximum points here.
They face a side in Blackburn who aren’t in great form either, Valerian Ismael’s side haven’t won in three games losing away to Swansea (3-0), drawing at home to Norwich (1-1) and then losing away to Derby at the weekend (2-1). They really need to get a run of wins under their belt as they sit in 8th and three points away from the playoff places currently. We expect a low scoring game in a windy midweek game in Stoke.
