We have three games Tuesday evening coming from League One the first being from St Andrew’s where Birmingham host Leyton Orient, Chris Davies’s side are six points clear at the top of the table with an unbeaten league run of 16 games. They drew 0-0 at the weekend away at Reading but previously to that they had won four league games on the bounce starting with a away win against Huddersfield (0-1), home win against Rotherham (2-1), home win against Cambridge (4-0) and then a home win against Charlton (1-0). The forward duo of Jay Stansfield and Alfie May have got 26 goals between them this season.
The visitors Leyton Orient are filling the final playoff place currently in 6th but an almighty 17 pts behind their opponents here, Richie Wellens side lost away to Bolton at the weekend (2-1) putting an end to a three game winning run in the league.
Birmingham won 2-1 when the two sides met earlier in the season with all three goals arriving in the first 20 minutes. We wouldn’t be surprised if both sides scored again in this encounter.

The second game of the evening comes from the PTS Academy Stadium where Northampton host Barnsley, Kevin Nolans side are 17th in the table but have won three of their last four league games. They beat Huddersfield at home 3-2, Mansfield away 0-1, lost at home to Wrexham 0-2 but then got back on winning form last weekend beating Bristol Rover at home 2-1.
The visitors Barnsley are 10th in the table with 10 pts separating them from their opponents here, they had been on a six game winless run but they put an end to that at the weekend when they beat Rotherham away 1-0 with Adam Phillips scoring from the spot. When the two sides met earlier in the season it ended 2-2 so can we expect goals again this time around.

The last of the games comes from the Brick Community Stadium where Wigan host Huddersfield, Shaun Maloney’s side are 16th in the table with just four points from the drop zone. They will arrive at this game without a win in five league games, they lost away at Peterborough (1-0), drew at home to Lincoln (1-1), lost at home to Stockport (0-2), then drew away at Crawley (1-1) and then more recently drew away at Wycombe (0-0).
The visitors Huddersfield are 5th in League One and heading for one of the play off places if their form carries on. They will arrive at this game on the back of a defeat away to Peterborough (0-1) but had previously won games away at Barnsley (1-2) and away to Shrewsbury (0-1). The travelling fans will hope they can get back to gaining maximum points here with an enormous 19 pts separating the two sides in the table.
