We have three televised games from the Championship to preview with you, the first is from Turf Moor where Burnley will host West Brom. The two sides failed to score when they met earlier in the season but we can’t see that being the case this time around, Scott Parker’s side have won their last three league games beating Sheffield Wednesday at home (4-0), Cardiff away (1-2) and then Luton at home (4-0) at the weekend. They closed the gap between the top two to just two points with the top two so with ten games remaining of the season they are still within reach of an automatic promotion place.
The visitors West Brom are filling the final playoff place currently with two points above their nearest rival, Tony Mowbray has experience of promotion from his first stint at the club. His side made it four games unbeaten when they beat QPR 1-0 at home at the weekend with striker Adam Armstrong scoring from the spot on 40 mins. The first half’s drama didn’t stop there with Darnell Furlong seeing red for violent conduct in jury time of the first 45 mins. We expect goals in this contest but which side will come away with the points?

The second fixture to look into comes from the Stadium of Light where Sunderland will host Preston, this was another contest that was goalless when the two sides met earlier in the season. The homeside will arrive here on the back of two victories away at Sheffield Wednesday (1-2) and at home to Cardiff (2-1), Regis Le Bris’s side are 12 pts clear of 4th place so they are more or less booked in for the play off deciding fixtures.
The visitors Preston are 16th in the table, Paul Heckingbottom’s side are without a win in five games. They have drawn three and lost two of those fixtures and we can’t see anything other than another defeat here.

The last of the games is from Bramall Lane where Sheffield Utd will host Bristol City, Chris Wilder’s side look to do the home and away double over their opponents after a 2-1 victory earlier in the season. The homeside moved to joint top at the weekend after a victory at home to Preston (1-0) and Leeds losing. This is not going to be an easy home victory but will the home advantage pay dividends?
The visitors Bristol City are 7th in the table and pushing for a play off place, Liam Manning’s side are five games unbeaten where they have won three of those at home to Stoke (2-0), at home to Middlesbrough (2-1) and away to Millwall (0-2). Whoever scores the first goal scores first will have a massive advantage in what we see to be a tight contest.
