Saturday 29th March Italian Serie A Football Preview

We have four fixtures to look at with you from Serie A, the first of them comes from the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia where Como will host Empoli. The team’s met earlier in the season for the first time in over 20 years where it was just one goal in the game with the homeside Empoli taking maximum points.

Now the homeside is Como who sit 13th in the table with 29 pts with nine games left to play, Cesc Fabregas’s side are without a win in three games. They lost away to Roma 2-1, drew at home to Venezia 1-1 and then more recently lost away to Milan 2-1. Although they are seven points between themselves and the drop zone a victory here would be much appreciated.

The visitors Empoli now look to complete the home and away double over their opponents, Roberto D’Aversa’s side sit 18th in the table and three points adrift of safety. They will arrive at this fixture without a win in Serie A since the 8th December where they won away at Verona 4-1. Since that they have lost 11 and drawn three which all ended 1-1 away to Venezia, at home to Bologna and away to Genoa. This fixture looks likely to be a low scoring contest with neither side playing with any confidence. Kick off 14.00pm.

Best odds can be found at non UK casinos: Como ¾, Empoli 9/2 and the Draw 12/5.

The second fixture of the day comes from the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo where Venezia will host Bologna, Eusebio Di Francesco’s side are 19th in the table and five points from safety. They are without a victory since before Christmas and arrive here drawing their last four games, they have drawn at home to Lazio (0-0), away to Atalanta (0-0), away to Como (1-1) and lastly at home to Napoli (0-0). They really need to start picking up maximum points if they want to escape the drop.

The visitors Bologna sit 4th in the league and on course for European football next season, they won 3-0 when the two sides met earlier in the season so hoping to complete the home and away double here. Vincenzo Italiano’s side have won their last four fixtures in Serie A beating Milan at home 2-1, Cagliari at home 2-1, Verona away 1-2 and more recently thrashing Lazio at home 5-0. We expect the table to mirror the result here and show Bologna are the better side.

Match Betting: Venezia 18/5, Bologna ⅘ and the Draw 13/5 Kick off 14.00pm

The third game of the day comes from the Allianz Stadium where Juventus host Genoa, Igor Tudor’s side look to complete the home and away double over their opponents after a 3-0 win earlier in the season. The homeside sit 5th in the table and a top four place is the best they can hope for this season with leaders Inter a mighty 12 pts above them with nine games left to play. They will arrive here losing their last two at home to Atalanta (0-4) and away to Fiorentina (3-0). We see this as a great opportunity to get back winning games here.

The visitors Genoa are 12th and look to be set for a mid table finish, Patrick Vieria’s side are unbeaten in their last three games. They have drawn at home to Empoli 1-1, away at Cagliari 1-1 and then won at home to Leece 2-1 most recently. This looks to be a tough challenge but Andrea Pinamonti will lead the line looking to add to his 8 goal tally for the season. Kick off 17.00pm.

Best odds can be found at Credit Card Gambling Sites: Juventus 11/20, Genoa 11/2 and the Draw 3/1.

The final fixture of the day comes from the Via del Mare where Leece will host Roma, Marco Giampaolo’s side sit 17th in the table with just three points separating themselves from the bottom three. They arrive here on the back of four defeats at home to Udinese (0-1), away to Fiorentina (1-0), at home to Milan (2-3) and more recently away to Genoa (2-1).

They face a side in Roma who look to complete the home and away double over their opponents after a 4-1 victory at home earlier in the season, Claudio Ranieri’s side are 7th in the league and two points outside of the European places currently. They exited the Europa League losing 4-3 on aggregate to Athletic Bilbao but in the league they have won six games on the bounce.

The run started with a win away to Venezia (0-1), followed by at victory away to Parma (0-1), a win at home to Monza (4-0), a home win against Como (2-1), a away win at Empoli (0-1) and then their last game resulted in a home win against Cagliari (1-0). We expect Ranieri’s side to have too much power going forward.

Match Betting: Leece 7/2, Roma ⅘ and the Draw 13/5 Kick off 19.45pm
