We are at the latter stages of the FA Cup now with the first of the Quarter Final matches taking place, the first of them coming from Craven Cottage where Fulham welcome Crystal Palace for a London Derby affair. The fixture has thrown up different results in the league so we expect the same here with a real cup feel to it.
The homeside Fulham beat Man United on penalties 4-3 in the previous round but will hope they can complete the job within 90 minutes here and keep their chance of some silverware alive. In the league Marco Silva’s side sit in 8th and won three and lost two of their last five games. They had victories at home to Forest (2-1), lost at home to Palace (0-2) , won away at Wolves (1-2), lost away to Brighton (2-1) and then more recently won at home against Tottenham (2-0). We expect Marco Silva to play an attacking side and look to take revenge on the Premiership defeat to their opponents with Raul Jimenez leading up top.
The visitors Crystal Palace beat Millwall 3-1 at Selhurst Park in the last round but neither of the front three attacking players got on the scoresheet. We expect Oliver Glasner to start with the same front three in Jean-Philippe Mateta, Ismaila Sarr and Eberechi Eze. They arrive at this fixture in 12th position six points behind their opponents here but have won their last three Premiership fixtures beating Fulham away (0-2), Aston Villa at home (4-1) and Ipswich at home (1-0).
They will have the confidence that they can get the win here but they face a side who know scoring the first goal of the game is massive and we expect the homeside to do that also.

The second fixture of the day comes from the American Express Stadium where Brighton will welcome Nottingham Forest, Fabian Hurzeler’s side have beaten Chelsea 2-1 here and Newcastle away 1-2 in the previous rounds so their taste for FA Cup glory is certainly there. The homeside are 7th in the Premiership but remain within touching distance of a European place with nine fixtures remaining.
They have won four and drew one of their last five encounters in the league with victories coming at home to Chelsea (2-1), away at Southampton (0-4), at home to Bournemouth (2-1), at home to Fulham (2-1) and then their last game results in a draw away to Man city (2-2).
The visitors Nottingham Forest beat their opponents 7-0 in the Premiership at the beginning of February but that was at the City Ground, Nino Santos’s side beat Premiership strugglers 5-4 on penalties in the last round after the game ending 1-1 in 90 minutes. The away side arrive here on the back of two wins in the league where they beat Man City at home 1-0 and Ipswich away 2-4. They are on course for a Top 3 finish in the league which means Champions League football for the Midlands side next season, they have a five point cushion to 4th place with nine games left of the season. Will they play a full team or rest some players for this fixture and concentrate on the Premiership? With that being said we recommend betting Brighton to win at 1/1 with leading gambling sites not on Gamban, this is a stand out price and we don’t expect it to last long once the team news comes out on match day.
