We have three remaining fixtures to look at for Saturday and the first of them is from the Brentford Community Stadium where Brentford welcome Brighton. The fixture earlier in the season ended goalless so we hope that won’t be the case here. Thomas Frank’s side sit 11th in the table but they arrive here with just one win in their last six fixtures, that was away at Bournemouth (1-2). They managed to come away from the Emirates last week with a point (1-1) which isn’t bad against a team that beat Real Madrid the week before. They certainly have the fire power up top to score so we can’t see them failing to do so here.
The visitors Brighton are five points ahead of their opponents in 10th in the table, Fabian Hurzeler’s side are also not in great form with two draws and two defeats in the last four matches. They drew away to Man City (2-2), lost at home to Aston Villa (0-3), lost away against rivals Crystal Palace (2-1) and then drew at home to Leicester (2-2) with both goals being from the spot by Joao Pedro.
Match Betting: Brentford 6/4, Brighton 7/4 and the Draw 27/10 Kick off 15.00pm
The next contest to look at is from Selhurst Park with Crystal Palace welcoming Bournemouth, this was another fixture that resulted in a goalless draw when they met earlier in the campaign. Oliver Glasner’s side are five points adrift of their opponents in 12th position and need to bounce back from a thrashing at Man City (5-2). That was their first defeat in six league games so with the home support behind them can they bounce back straight the way?
They face a Bournemouth side who ended a six game winless run last weekend when they beat Fulham at home (1-0). Andoni Iraola’s side are 8th in the Premiership but with just six fixtures remaining they need to close a six point gap to have any chance of a place in one of the European competitions next season. Their top scorer Justin Kluivert was out for their last game so we wait to hear if he will play a part in this contest.
Match Betting: Crystal Palace 6/4, Bournemouth 7/4 and the Draw 5/2 Kick off 15.00pm
The final fixture of the afternoon matches comes from the London Stadium where West Ham welcome Southampton, the Hammers have had a change of manager since their win at St Mary’s earlier in the season (0-1). Graham Potter’s side are 17th but with a 14 point cushion between themselves and relegation they look highly likely to avoid the drop. They arrive at this fixture accumulating just two points from a possible fifteen and in due course failing to keep a clean sheet. They face a side here who have recently parted company with their manager due to relegation.
The visitors Southampton already know they will be playing Championship football next season, it’s been a season to forget with just 10 points collected from 32 games this season. The last victory was on the 1st February which was away to Ipswich (1-2) who also look like they will be joining them in the Championship. We can see both sides playing freely here with nothing to lose so hopefully we will see more goals than the one in their last contest.
Match Betting: West Ham ½, Southampton 11/2 and the Draw 5/2 Kick off 15.00pm
