This Saturday we have four FA Cup ties for you, the first coming from Selhurst Park where Crystal Palace host Millwall. The two sides haven’t met since 2022 when it was a FA Cup tie that brought them together with Palace winning 2-1 at The Den. Oliver Glasner’s side are 12th in the Premiership and will arrive here in good form having won their last two away to Fulham (0-2) and at home to Aston Villa (4-1). They played a strong starting eleven in the last round with Jean-Philippe Mateta leading the line so we can expect the same in this tie.
The visitors Millwall are 12th in the Championship, Alex Neil’s side caused an upset beating Leeds at Elland Road in the last round 2-0 but this is going to be even tougher. They will arrive on the back of a win away at Derby (0-1) where substitute Josh Coburn scored in the 95th minute.
Match Betting Odds at Non UK Casinos: Crystal Palace 1/3, Millwall 10/1 and the Draw 4/1 Kick off 12.15pm Live on BBC One.
The second game to look at comes from Deepdale where Preston host Burnley, Paul Heckingbottom’s side beat Wycombe 4-2 on penalties to reach this stage. They will arrive here without a win in three games in the Championship and sitting in 15th position.
The visitors Burnley drew 0-0 when they came here a couple of weeks ago in the league but hopefully a cup tie will make it more entertaining, Scott Parker’s side are 3rd in the table with just two points separating them from an automatic promotion place in 2nd. They have won three of their last four in the Championship beating Oxford at home (1-0), Hull away (2-0) and Sheffield Wednesday at home (4-0). They beat Southampton away 1-0 to get to the final 16 of this competition.
Match Betting: Preston 3/1, Burnley 11/10 and the Draw 9/4 Kick off 12.15pm Live on the BBC Red Button.
The next game comes from the Vitality Stadium where Bournemouth will host Wolves, Andoni Iraola’s side beat Everton at Goodison 2-0 to get to the last 16 of this competition. The homeside have lost their last two games in the league at home to Wolves (0-1) and away at Bournemouth (2-1) but the contest against Wolves they played with ⅔ of the game down to ten men. This will be a different contest this time around.
The visitors Wolves have moved 5 pts away from the bottom three in the table after two wins in four games. They beat Midlands rivals Villa 2-0 at home as well as today’s opponents away. Vitor Pereira’s team beat Blackburn away 2-0 to get to this stage.
Match Betting: Bournemouth 8/11, Wolves 10/3 and the Draw 16/5 Kick off 15.00pm
The final match of the day comes from the Etihad with Man City hosting Plymouth, Pep Guardiola’s side have slipped down to 5th in the table after a defeat to Liverpool at home 2-0 last weekend. After a Champions League exit to Real Madrid this is now their only chance of silverware this season and we expect them to get by Plymouth with the minimum of fuss.
The visitors Plymouth are 22nd in the Championship and three points from safety at the moment, Miron Muslic’s side have drawn their last two league games 1-1 away at Luton and at home to Cardiff but after upsetting Liverpool at home 1-0 in the last round they will not be holding back here. We expect an open game with plenty of goals.
Match Betting: Man City 1/14, Plymouth 33/1 and the Draw 12/1 Kick off 17.45pm Live on ITV 4.
